Owning a Skyjacks wheelchair lift can help make your life a whole lot simpler by granting you the independence to move. These lifts come in two variants.
The first is a roof mounted lift which is fitted with roof racks on top of your vehicle, allowing you to move from the wheelchair into the driver’s seat, and then hoist the chair from the ground to the roof. The second variant is a platform lift which fits into a van type vehicle, allowing the person seated in the wheelchair to roll onto the platform and be lifted from the ground to the floor height of the vehicle, where after moving into the vehicle can either transfer to a seat or remain in the chair. If the person remains in the chair, we have a Skyjacks Tie-Down system, which restrains the chair to the vehicle and a lap belt which restrains the person in the chair.
